Although babies are born with a natural immunity to disease, this typically begins to diminish at the age of two months. For this reason, it would be advisable that your child has the relevant immunisations to protect them from the threat of serious infections such as Meningitis and Polio.
There are many diseases that can be prevented through vaccinations. When your baby is a few months old, he can be a polio vaccination, DTP-Hib vaccination and a meningitis C vaccination. The polio vaccine is taken orally as drops, whereas the other two are given through injections in either the thing or the buttocks.

Learning is one of the most important things for young children and babies; everything comes naturally to them at this age.
